indievision acts as an international voice for the small developer – we are here to help promote the interests of indie development studios, and to provide information, advice & contacts essential for running a successful studio.
We are a volunteer based organisation; there are no membership fees – just developers helping/supporting other developers. Membership is open to any indie developer developing their own game(s); from 1 person upwards.
What We Do
Provide Support
We can provide help and support where a developer falls foul of immoral business practices. We can assist with press coverage, researching & collating evidence, sourcing legal advice, etc…
Discussion Forums
A place to talk to like minded professional indie developers & studio owners; discuss news, development practices, business development, funding issues, and so on.
Click Here to visit the forums.
Platform Holders
We can help make contact with platform holders, and provide advice to make the road a little easier to getting your game onto your chosen hardware platform.
Contacts
We provide an extensive list of contacts at publishers, law firms, outsource companies, format holders, ratings & official organisations and can provide recommendations in some cases, along with warnings about the sharks out there.
Business Advice
Help and advice with basic tax questions (such as withholding tax), age ratings, QA and the many other issues associated with self-funded development and publishing.
Networking
We can arrange introductions to publishers and other businesses and organisations in the games industry.
